Bad Things Come First, and Good Things Come Last

This is for my English task, kay?

.
About one month ago, for spent the holiday, me and my family went to Jogja, yes, every preparation has been made, and it felt like it will be a perfect vacation trip, but as the saying goes, "There's nothing perfect in this world" and so is this trip, the day when we started the trip, I just realized, I get flu.

It was disaster for me, my body felt so cold. I only could crouched in my sit, tried to cover my body with a jacket, but it it's still felt so cold, even when my mother turned the off the car's AC (Oh, we often travel by car FYI). The trip itself was 15 hours, and that means I have to stay on that position, for 15 hours! And for more bad news, my mother don't bring any flu medicine. Oh Lord.

.

When we arrived at the hotel, I couldn't went through the Malioboro street with my mother, sister, and little brother because I felt so sick and tired. Then, I stayed in the hotel with my father (who also tired because he's our family's driver, haha), I just lay on the bed and watched the cable TV. When my mother came back, she brought foods and some tea for our Ta'jil (Eh, did I forgot to mention that time we're still fasting?).

Even after I ate some food, my body still felt not good. And for the worst scenario, I vomited. That night too, I shivered, and couldn't sleep well...

.

Since my mother told me to not fasting for this day, I just agreed with her, after all, she's my Mom, she always know what's the best for me right?

This day too, I felt much better, and the great thing was that I could visited a historical place, the name of that place is Vredeburg Fort. I'm so glad, I rarely got this opportunity, since my mom and my sister prefer to go shopping than visiting museums... I took some photos there in Vredeburg Fort, yeah, the building still looks nice and well cared~

.

The day after that is even better, we went to a shop that sells so many anti
que-vintage things, (I adore those things!) at there, I found some prints of old advertisement, and brought two prints safely back to Tangerang~ (The second one is not really and advertisement, but more likely a comic strips)

Awesome right? :D
.

Truthfully, I don't even know if this vacation considered as a 'disaster' or not, but maybe, I could put it to something like this, "Bad things come first, and good things come last."
